Columbia Cascade Company operates a zero-emissions factory and adheres to environmentally sensitive manufacturing processes. We are committed to producing a wide variety of sustainable products. Architects specify TimberForm site furnishings to help built projects earn credits and achieve LEED certification.

 
Materials & Resources - MR 4 for Recycled Content
 
Steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and aluminum products are manufactured using 80% - 100% combined post-consumer and post-industrial recycled metals.
 
Rather than wood, 100% post-consumer recycled HDPE plastic slats may be specified for many TimberForm site furnishings.
 
Plastic litter container liners are molded from 100% recycled post-industrial HDPE material.
 
Materials & Resources – MR 5 for Regionally-made Materials
 
All products are manufactured in Vancouver, Washington, U.S.A. within 500 miles of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, western Montana, northern Nevada, and northern California.
 
Certified Wood – MR 7
 
Most Douglas fir and purpleheart hardwood for furniture slats are obtained from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified mills.
 
Sustainable Sites – SS 4.2 for Alternative Transportation
 
CycLoops and CycLocker bicycle management systems qualify for secure storage for commercial or institutional buildings.
 
Air Quality – EQ 4.2 for Low-emitting Materials: Paints & Coatings
 
No solvents are used in color finishes. Instead lead-free CASPAX-7 powder coatings are oven cured and emit no VOC's (0 g/L).
